2nd Term Oral Presentation

You must do a WRITTEN WORK and an ORAL PRESENTATION about one of the following topics:
cooking or photo films

PROCEDURE and STRUTURE of the oral presentation
1. Prepare the presentation based on model sentence stems.
2. Write out the presentation fully. It must have the following structure: introduction, body and conclusion:
- The introduction: introduce yourself and then state the topic of what you are going to talk about.
- The body develops the topic. Talk about cooking or describe a photo film.
- The conclusion sums up the main points.
- Use words like (first, then, secondly, finally.... to let your listeners know where you are going).
- Use short, simple sentences with one idea.
3. Prepare any visuals on a powerpoint.
4. Practise and make the presentation in your house (do not use any notes!)
5. Present it to the class.
6. Ask for any questions to the students.
7. It must be about 2-3 minutes long.
